The Royal Hospital Chelsea
West London has long been a hub of creativity, the epicentre for style and home to the fashion-forward. In the 1960’s and 70’s the King’s Road dominated the London music scene with mods and rockers, hippies and punks flocking to its boutique shops and happening hang outs.
Sandwiched between the river and bustle of King’s Road, the Royal Hospital Chelsea has provided sanctuary for veterans since its inception more than 300 years ago. Commissioned by King Charles II and designed by Sir Christopher Wren the stunning buildings and grounds are home to ex-servicemen and women, warmly known as the Chelsea Pensioners.
Following recent, extensive improvements to the residential accommodation, the Royal Hospital Chelsea is determined to move with the times and has opened its grounds to a variety of musical acts, forming the Live at Chelsea Concert Series. The first act announced for the 2018 event is one of Britain’s best loved solo artists, James Blunt.
With many more acts to be announced and an array of sumptuous VIP packages on offer there’s no better way to enjoy the beautiful setting of Royal Hospital Chelsea than with an evening of fantastic music. Follow us online to be the first to hear the latest news.
